The Farm

Bird in a Beehive is a small farm that provides a weekly vegetable delivery service. We deliver to restaurants as well as to homes in local communities. Our crops consist of organic, heirloom vegetables, herbs, and edible flowers. Each year we offer a limited number of shares for a harvest that runs from May until October.

Organic egg shares are also available for weekly delivery. Shares are limited and early registration is encouraged.

Vegetable Garden Design

 If you love the idea of picking fresh, organic veggies from your own backyard, a custom designed vegetable garden may be just what you need. Bird in a Beehive offers design, installation, and harvesting for the adventurous home gardener. It's a great opportunity to enjoy the season's harvest and it's only footsteps away.

If your not feeling so adventurous, let us do it for you! We provide weekly maintenance and harvesting options for just that reason. It's a great option for you when life gets too busy. 

All of our vegetable gardens are planted with heirloom varieties and the soil, seed and veggies are all organic.  We customize each plot based on your personal favorites.

Full shares are $65.00 per week and require a 10 week commitment, to be paid in advance. Half shares require a 5 week commitment. 

You may use the weeks at your leisure, re-scheduling deliveries to accommodate summer vacations etc. However, there are no guarantees on vegetable availability outside the 15-18 week harvest schedule.There will be no refunds for unused weeks, as we grow our crops according to your specific share commitment. 

To avoid spoilage in the summer heat, deliveries are only made if you are home to receive them. Otherwise, shares may be picked up at our Bird in a Beehive Farm Store located in Rowley, MA directly across the street from Todd Farm Flea Market.
